All equines can benefit from receiving Reiki healing.

I have two beautiful horses that I share my life with and they have taught me many things over the years, but one of the most valuable lessons they have given me is to understand how to “listen” to them.  This form of communication has been invaluable on my Reiki journey, and whenever I give healing to a horse, it is done intuitively, meaning my equine client is able to guide me and show me where the healing is required. Reiki sessions are best carried out in the horses normal environment.  It is preferable to carry out a healing session on a horse during quieter times so as to avoid disruption and noise. Of course people are welcome to attend during a session, but I like to work in a quiet environment so as to help promote a relaxed state for the client during their session.

Reiki healing is a very gentle non invasive healing, that most horses readily accept.

Until fairly recently, scientists have been quite sceptical about the claims made for hands on healing but research has produced conclusive proof that healing works on many levels.  It compliments and works alongside traditional conventional treatments working on a deeper level. Reiki therapy is accepted by more and more vets. When used in conjunction with conventional treatments, Reiki can be very beneficial and aides the patient's recovery in less time than expected.
